Aya, I�m proud to say that I will soon see my son, Patrick Daniel, celebrate his 40th birthday. I had only one other son, Paul (38 years old), that suffered through some of the ill effects of Agent Orange and we were never able to have any more children. . . Although, we do seem to be the �favorite� aunt and uncle of many nieces and nephews and we are a very close family!

As you say, you would call that a miracle. I would call my entire life a miracle, an adventure, something that could never be planned and I thank God for what He has given me even through the hardships. One thing that you learn in war is that life is precious but also that one shouldn�t be afraid of death. . . . Who knows? Maybe it a continuing circle and we�re doomed to go through the whole thing again. . . . . . . Thanks for writing, Aya/GB . . . . . . . . Beanie
