Jackie Kays has posted a poem below about a plane crash in a minefield at Da Nang, 41 years ago today. He also wrote a book with that story, "To Die Alone," that is a must read.

To appreciate Jackie's poem, you really need to first read the Book Review "To Die Alone" that has newly added background information of that Monsoon night 41 years ago today -- about a place called Death Valley:
