Subject: Responding to Forrest Brandt "Lai Khe base, Vietnam"

I am a student at Foster and my duty is to write a personal reflection about a couple war stories and then send a bulliton. I think that this story is very different and interesting. Different in the sense of "i have never heard of a story that didnt end in a happy ending". Wow, The vietnam war must have been somthin' jeeze. I researched some of the songs that were playing that time and why wouldnt they want to play some of the songs you mentioned? Werent the song lyrics relating to Veitnam war in a good way? Anyways, I like your story and thank you for fighting in the Vietnam War.

God Bless you
Sandra
