In the short story The Little Boy written by Lynette Bachert shows how this author wanted to show readers how a soldier thinks. This short story shows that a young man, is nervous and believes that he is a coward. In the short story this young man sadly dies in the battlefield fighting for his country. This shows that even though a soldiers age is there, on the inside he is still a boy. This gives readers , like myself a different perspective, it shows that even though a soldier may be tough he can still think of himself as a coward and on the inside he can still be a boy.
