THAT'S SUCH A FALLACY OF LOGIC! Some of the greatest scientists of all time believed in God, however, I cannot use that as my reason for believing that God exists. If I did, I would be using an illogical argument - just like yours. I just pity you so much. You've educated yourself with fragments of information, never seeing the whole, and you live in blind ignorance.
How old is the earth? That's debatable. Evolutionists believe that the earth can not possibly as young as Creationists believe...yet consider this: Scientists have discovered that the farther back one looks in time, the more rapidly the speed of light seems to increase. Several mathematical curves seem to fit these three centuries of data. Projecting those curves back in time, the speed of light becomes so fast that conceivably light from distant galaxies could have reached Earth in several thousand years.
Microevolution vs. Macroevolution:
Two separate things here! Look them up! Christians believe in microevolution - look at dog breeding - yet macroevolution is a theory still begging proof. Don't you think it's a mistake to theorize without facts? Sherlock Holmes (fictional detective) once said "It is a capital mistake to twist the facts to suit the theory rather than twist the theory to suit the facts."
Are you still searching for evidence to support a theory based on poor observation? Hmmm.
