With hot breath upon his cold cheek the stallion recoiled in suprise, before throwing his head foreward in a desperate attempt to right a crumbling monument. Sprawled in the crimson snow he breathes heavily, mouth agape, eyes wide in panic as every muscle in his body lives solely on his next intake of breath.
