The Qyne is momentarily distracted from their games by the arrival of first two, then four, new candidates for the chirrs' attention. She narrows her eyes slightly, silently willing them away from 'Beauty', feeling that the chirr she was currently playing with had enough competitors. When no one even glanced her way, she relaxes and smiles slightly. When she glances back down at her orb and finds it gone once more, she chuckles, and looks to 'Beauty'. The sphere was lying a few inches away from the chirr's paws, and a victorious expression glints in her golden eyes. When Maeko reaches for it, 'Beauty' nudges it of her reach with her muzzle. That started a rather extensive game of Keep Away, ended by Sathran distracting her with his toy. While 'Beauty' is looking away, Maeko snatches the orb away, cradling it gently in her palms, while watching to see how 'Beauty' reacted when she noticed the sphere was gone.
