Subject: Peers into the den.

His dark eyes bright as he peers into the den. A single booted foot sets itself into the den, swiftly followed by the other. Gaze shifts o'er each chirr, then rests on the Great Mother. Surprise almost touches the normally emotionless features of the Qyne. Wolflike ears flick back momentarily, then forward again to appear perked. Body bent from just above his legs down as far as he could go. Remaining in said position, gaze lowered in front of the great Niyia.
"Great Mother.. I hope that ye fare well after the birth of thy chirrs. I would be most honored if I might be allowed to remain here.. Hopefully to bond with one of your magnificiant young, but if not, just to be in your prescence, and to watch as these chirrs find their bonded."

Only now raising his head, eyes still lowered so as not to touch her own gaze. Respectfully he waited, tail oddly unmoving for once.
