Blinks as if coming out of a trance, his gaze slowly seeming a bit more focused, though the fact that he appears to be blind doesn't really help to tell if he is focused or not. He holds up the orb. "This?" He says. "Oh.. It's.. A crystal, sorta, shaped into a circle.. My.. Er.. Sister made it for me. Somehow, she trapped fire in there, and there is a tiny hole that lets air in.. It shimmers in the light, but also because of the fire."

Reaching into his pocket, he takes out a similar orb, and sets it on the floor near Zaniel. "Here.. Keep it." He says with a friendly grin.

His hand runs down the chirr's mane, thoughtfully, though his gaze was still on Zaniel.
