We're here, and it is incredible that we are even here. This is an incredible place. It should be perfectly understandable how whole cultures would feel humbled by all of nature to the point where they felt the need to put some sort of faith into a being greater their individual selves. With all of the wonders of nature it may have been a little hard to accept that they were the best game in town. Nature not so much a proof but perhaps a driving force in convincing people that there must be something they can't see making this all come into being and making this all work.

Just as we were able to evolve from single celled amoebas, why not a different form of energy than matter evolving into something sentient?
