August

Well it's the beginning of August already. Where has summer gone? I think time accelerates after July 4th. Here's a recap of my summer:

I've been working for the Indiana DNR all summer and it's an awesome job. I'm almost always working outside, and for 3 weeks I got paid basically to fish all day. I fished in a tournament in Texas over Memorial weekend. Didn't win much but had alot of fun. I've been in 6 or 7 other tournaments around home this summer. Won 1 and placed 3rd in another. Been close in a couple more. All in all I've pretty much broke even $$wise. Have one coming up on Webster (aka Lake X to Brett and I) on the 10th. Usually do well there but it's been a weird summer weatherwise so wish me luck. Went to visit Alison and some people at MSU in June. That was really nice, but I only got to see Jeff and Miranda at MSU. For the 4th, Brett, Mike and Scott came down for a few days. That was an awesome time. There was so much going on. Alison came down last weekend. I finally got to show her around. I was sad to see her leave ;) My last day of work is the 9th. Hopefully I will get to Cedar Point sometime before school starts. I may head up to Traverse City for a couple days the week before school starts too. Well that's me in a nutshell. Talk to you soon...
