She fidgeted uncertainly as she eyed her son. His precision of movements...it was eerie, how he seemed to communicate with the outside world like that. He seemed to be so fine-tuned to nature, it was as if the trees, the wind spoke to him. It reminded her of Raven, back when he was one of the few and far between kings. She missed those days, but, apparantly, Raven was indifferent to that. As long as he had Haku, she supposed.
She could hear the wind sweeping up behind her, and she dove forward into a headlong gallop, coiling and undulating herself in a powerful strike toward whatever followed her. She lunged through the barrier, and landed precisely next to Haku.
