Fieger tried to get Springer. Supposedly he tried to serve him with papers to appear but Springer successfully dodged them. They could not force him to appear because he was not a "witness". That's what I heard anyways.

What really irritated me most about the trial (besides CourtTV not showing anything but the opening statements) was that CourtTV said they would resume trial coverage IF Springer appeared. I say F Springer and F CourtTV for only caring about the trial IF that scumbag was on the stand.
