She needs to practice� she knows it. She decides to work on shape-shifting. In the blink of an eye, she is an eagle. Then a dragon. Then a gryphon. Then a pegasus. Then a mouse. Then a lion. Then a fly. She snaps from one image to the next, a blurring slideshow. An eel. A goldfish. A rottweiler. A housecat. A deer. A pig. A tiger. A unicorn. Faster and faster, until the forms are no longer distinguishable. Then, she stops, once more in her regular form.

Next, she practices self-healing. She bites down on her paw, HARD, until a crack is heard. She focuses, and it is instantly healed. She slices her leg open with her fangs. Healed. Cut. Healed. Broken leg. Healed. Broken paw. Healed. Broken rib. Healed. Concussion. Healed. Slit windpipe. Healed. Punctured lung. Healed. Slit jugular. Healed. She practices and practices, until it is flawless.

The next power she works on is invisibility. She focuses, and she is invisible. then, she is back again. here. Gone. here. Gone. Here. Gone. Over and over again, she does this, until it is so fast there is only a blur. Useful future tactic, she thinks to herself.

Finally, she practices teleport. She is at the back of the cave, then the front of the cave. Back. Front. Back. Front. Corner. Middle. Back. Middle. Corner. Back. Front. Middle. Back. Corner. Back. Front. She flashes from one place to another. Finally, she is done.
