A slightly disbelieving noise sounds in his throat as a brow rises, explanation eminating forth slightly sarcastically.
"I was in training, testing out different proffessions so that I could be asessed for the best postion. That time it was guard.."
He allows the sentence to end...let them presume what they would. The implication, it seemed, was that he was being kept safe..or out of the way...in a situation that was relatively secure. Perhaps it was no coincidence he had been assigned to guard that time.. he had his own ideas about the mission...let them have theirs.
