Ah yes, perhaps I was mistaken. Yet logic does work in strange ways, but perhaps wasn't applicable to this situation. You haven't heard of this pet? Perhaps it's wisest you don't, unless you truly care to know. So, what is the worst fate you expected to befall you on this expedition, that is, if you do believe you were on the track to becoming a good soldier like your comrades.
~her carefree demeanor - purely a show. Carnage, especially in that quantity, was never a pleasant sight. She herself had escaped doom at the fangs of the wolf, and knew quite well what the soldiers had been up against. Plenty of them were unawares, knowing only when it was too late for survival. She had no desire to see what she had seen in the Venhydran hall, post-wolf-attack, again~
