The roar of an engine, not uncommon among the numerous landing pads, grows steadily louder as the fighter swoops low over the complex and pulls up into the cloudy night air once more. Almost instantly, another ship descends from the sky, larger and finely made, it glides almost soundlessly down onto an empty landing platform, it's lights slowly switching off. The fighter returns as soon as the other ship had landed, swinging down with a roar onto another nearby pad. No sooner had the engine stopped than the glass canopy pops open, the somewhat battered looking pilot stepping out onto the wing and sliding to the ground...
Pressing her hand firmly against her bandaged temple, the pilot steps across the to the other ship, waiting until the door opens to quickly grab her pack and mumble something about getting an ATV....
