"Right. Well, there are a few rules to selling weapons,"
The woman ticks the laws off on her fingers as she recites them.
"Ask for and verify identification with every customer. Don't sell firearms to Feds or unlicensed Tanari colonists, only Alliance workers or outland settlers. You may be assigned two armed guards to man the shop and protect it. Ammunition must be kept in a bomb secure location, so that in the event of an air raid, the entire town does not turn into a pothole if your shop is hit. Mass destruction bombs or chemical weapons are..not allowed. Only close combat firearms or defensives."
She pauses, glancing up at the young woman's inquisitive face.
"This is a licence to -sell- weapons and ammunitions, not carry them. This means, that outside your shop..no firearms. You can carry defensive weapons, such as knives, but otherwise keep it in your shop. If you are worried about safety, we can issue you a bodyguard."
Her gaze moves once more to the flashing computor screen and after a few rushed commands into her headset, stands as a door behind her slides open.
"We'll need security identification for your record.. Any questions before we continue?"
