An exhaled sigh of air escapes purposefully from her somewhat dust streaked face, sending a wisp of hair, and no small amount of dust particles streaming away from her forehead as she unholsters her blaster. Elliptical pupils flicker twoards Niamh's expectant face, brows bouncing briefly skyward in unspoken amusement as she unloads a single shell casing from her weapon. A flick of slender fingers sends it rolling haphazardly across the intervening space, the thumb-sized object settling with a gentle 'clink' against the spy's water glass.
"That is the casing of one of our mobile bugs, currently on it's way to Venhydra via a ship carrying a Federation hired bounty hunter and our ...ex...-prisoner."
Her gaze shifts briefly to the president before returning to Niamh.
"I believe the activation code is embedded electronically in the casing... or else etched into the shell somewhere."
Raven's focus shifts again, this time to encompass both women.
"Apparently the Federation was hoping to keep this visit unofficial... they hired a bounty hunter..reptillian in appearance.. perhaps Vle'goran.. not the most specialized in anycase. He used some sort of pronged stun rod to immobilize the boy and escaped, in his spacecraft.. which I tagged. The bounty hunter was rather reluctant to attack us in any way, but willing to kill the boy if we threatened him."
Streamlined brow rises once more, this time in relative uncertainty.
"I have a few ideas why the Feds would engage in a rescue or silencing op, though it is a bit suprising they would pay a private head hunter.. unless they were misinformed about our captive.."
