Ochre stained sand, swirling into a gyrating dust cloud as the wind whips forcefully around the colony buildings, skidds through the open door of the hall, racing along the polished floor before tumbling to a halt as the door slices off the rampaging breeze. A quiet motor whirrs and the grains reanimate, skating sluggishly along the flooring twoard tiny grated ruts in the floor to be sucked uncerimoniously back outside.
Scuffed boots crunching against grit as yet unreclaimed, Raven ambles quietly twoard the reception desk, leaning against the partition for a moment in brief conversation with the clerk.
"Thanks"
She nods to the receptionst and turns down one of the branching hallways off the vestibule, worn boot soles squeaking softly against the dark tile.
