Taking his things he lays out his duster and boots (both old and new pairs) on his bunk. Removing the stiching kit he bought he begins to work on them slowly. His head hurts which makes the process a slow one.

Removing the sole of the right boot on both pairs of boots he pulls from his old pair a spring knife system and attaches it inside the new pair. Pulling a heavy needle, glue, and thick thread from the kit he seals the sole back on his new boots, leaving a small slit for the knife to be deployed, and puts them on. He looks at the duster and sighs. Reaching for the stain remover he says "I'll have to work on that later... for now I'll just apply this stuff." He applies the chemical and leaves it on the bunk, dressing himself in the rest of his clothing and combat webbing. He leaves most of his weapons behind however, taking only his revolver.

"Well, I'm ready to start the day."
