TANYA DOES NOT CONSIDER HERSELF OR HER TEAMS AS SUPER CLOGGERS. SHE DOES WANT THEM TO DO THEIR VERY BEST. SHE DOES PROMOTE TEAM SPIRIT AND WISHES ALL OTHER TEAMS THE BEST ALSO. IN NO WAY HAS SHE TRIED TO MAKE HERSELF KNOWN AS THE BEST IN WILMINGTON..THAT WAS MY PERSONAL OPINION OF HER. IF ANYTHING SHE PROMOTES CLOGGING AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT GROW IN THE WILMINGTON AREA.

Hey Tanya these people think you emabrace and welcome all parts of clogging and they think youre nice to everybody and you dont judge everybody else. Wow..youve really kept that little team to yourself and protected them from the ugly truth huh. Well here is my response to your comments about me, So long ago. I will make you look silly and you know it. Thats why you shunned all of your friends when it came time for you to be an independent. But your reputation doesnt fool us. We all know your steps sound bad and you are insecure when you are around your talented friends. All the nasty words that have flowed from your mouth, mostly before this nieve group you have now, are catching up to you on a dum clogging blog. This is for you ohh omniclogger. You better thank your lucky stars none of us actually started a group in Wilmington because you wouldnt have a chance. Platinums are not people, anybody can dance for points. Compared to real cloggers, you guys wouldnt win much unless you were taught better. Hope you win more precious metals though. I hear it means something in the Showstoppers and the Star Systems financial sinkhole. People in Wilmington have more money than talent so it seems to work for yall. Im a judge and someone should have told DanceQuest a long time ago that they have trouble establishing a beat. The adults do well. But the younger are just taught bad. Long Live the Magnum Cloggers! and Long Live good competition.

It is scarey and SAD to think that you are a judge
(of what..haha)!!!! It is pretty OBVIOUS (AGAIN) that you don't know talent when you see it!! No REAL judge would do and say the things you are doing!! Besides "ANYBODY" can be a judge!!! SETTLED!!!!

I was standing over Christy's shoulders watching her post a rather positive comment about Tanya. I was picking on her by revealing her identity. She thought it was funny as far as our business went. Nobody knows what has come out of her mouth about people she has grown up dancing with. . If you knew all the judgement she has laid out there just to establish herself as this clogging prodigy of Wilmington, your remarks would reflect more experience. Your little rant about Miss SuperClogger only qualifies my paranoid view of just how much more practice and growing she needs to do. You think Im the one starting this unfriendly little discussion but im sorry, she has done this to her co-dancers going way back pretty much each studio she was involved in. She cant keep her friends in dancing because theres always some conflict or some competetive driven ugly side that bad mouths anything thats not "her Style". Ever wonder why you only go to showstoppers and Star Systems? Well thats because its not just a clogging competetion. God forbid you ever show up in CCA, or a really big ACHF competition with your "Tanya Evers influenced clogging perception." She isnt going to get any better either until she can dance with people and not against them and until she learns to love the people and the differences and quit sticking her slighty boring, indifferent, Duckwalkin, Bad audio makin, talent in everybodys face. Especially if shes going to judge and drink hateraid while shes amidst the people that know where she comes from are still around. Guess what...I dont care if you think shes the best. Theres a whole lot of us out here that would make you eat that attitude for lunch on the dance floor. Maybe you can try being friends with other good dancers because everybody should know that we all steal each others stuff but its not stealing its dancing and thats what we all want to do.

Hi all, its me the forgiveness fairy. There was definately more than one person involved in the Tanya bashing. I think its easy to state opinions when you dont have to be accountable as an identifiable person but hopefully this will blow over and people can learn to forgive and maybe not forget, but handle like an adult. I know some of these girls and I called them to verify and only one of them owned up to it. I dont know who the initial commentor was but I know some Tanya haters and judging by what they were saying I had to call em out because I know alot of cloggers too and I know people who cant let go of Tanya-hating because of certain past issues they had with her. Seems like they picked up where the other person left off with the slow-down comment and took advantage of the responses that it drew. I knew it had to be 5678 people when I saw the rocking robin comment. Silly..silly..silly. One of them has never met Tanya and was just feeding off the drama it was causing. I hope Tanya doesnt see this or if she has then just not give credit to it because I think she has always been pretty nice and sweet. And I have always thought she had this smooth ladylike style of clogging. Of course Im a guy dancer so we tend to not play into the whos better category....at least the straight ones dont. heh heh. Plus who cares....clogging is not something you can talk about with the pretense of being that cool. Its cool in its own little world but cmon....outside that there was some serious "You got served" attitude being laid out there. Sheessssh

someone had her on speakerphone when she had her little discussion and I heard her rant. later on Several people who where around her told me how she acted. I couldnt approach her because I was in shock and so hurt

im sorry she may not be that way now but last time i even got a chance to be around her she made fun of me to these other people and made agonizing faces when talking about me and I have seen her do it to other dancers we have danced with so I figured she treated everybody that way. But when I saw her routines it made me mad because I can do better than that be she was the one who acted like the things I keep bringing up. Thats where Im drawing them from....experience.

Hey Im new to this chat. its clogging guys just chill. ive been doing it for years around here and i knew tanya and I knew a lot of Tanyas generation dancers and there were some good ones too. Well this sounds like a mother. Yes I am a critic I saw all the critics posting this BS and I read everybodys thoughts and I realized that things havent changed after all these years. Something you should realize is I stand for unity and sharing and growing. She burns bridges that would open doors for these things and I dont think she wants to change doing that. She has always felt threatened in the talent area and I guess thats why she influences unhealthy competition and Ego-driven dance teams. They all support and act just like her. Oh yeah by the way, why do you think its so "obvious" I dont her. You think because we have different opinions it qualifies you to say that at know what you are even talking about. You dont know me so write more about the best clogger in Wilmington.
Or you know what.....just stop and so will I. that goes for all you other people too. I dont even care anymore....This little blog war helped to get over her and realize now that I dont care. I cant help but think of what a good clogging team could come from all the good teachers and reputable dancers if they could be friends and not act like its a quest for the best or some clogging force that you better watch out for.

There is ar two teams out of Burgaw NC, and one out of Wilmington NC.
The Burgaw teams are Cripple Creek under the direction of Nancy Ackock, and the Jamie Watson's team.
In Wilminton, I think the group is called Dance Force.

I agree with you above...there are NO Politics at that studio!!! It is all about fairness and what is best for the dancers and sometimes the parents don't always agree with Tanya and what she feels is best for the dancer as far as moving to a higher level team!! Therefor the parents get mad and embarrassed that their child didn't advance like other children and pull their child out.....that is not politics honey that is ignorance!!!! GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT!! QUIT SHOWING YOUR IGNORANCE AS USUAL!!

oh yeah and by the way...slow down.....there is this thing called rhythm that is in the mechanics of each individual step. Every routine I have ever seen come from that girl sounds like ran-together basics slamming into each other. Somebody should have held her back until her talent caught up with her self perception. You studio-heads think youre so entertaining....think again before you take that bow, cause when youre not looking thats when we all laugh. Dancing is great when it goes to your feet but when it moves to the head, you dance top heavy. Remember what its all about and humble up. Hope you can forgive me but its been a long time coming princess.

VERY IMPRESSIVE GROUP ON AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. They were told by one judge to change their look. They are a rugged looking group, so maybe they could play towards that with a marine cammi outfit. Rolled up short sleeves and boots. I like their current torn jeans look, but there is no real clear synch with the current outfits. Just a laymen's observation. Pass this on if anyone personally knows this group. Of course they need to be voted in by the public, but they should have a good chance.
