How about a vantage/lookout point from which evils and goods may spy on each other? This could also serve a usefull purpose during wars, as the board where intruding parties cross into the land if they are not fighting in the battle field.

An idea to start a war to liven things up - we post that there is a meeting of the Gods in the temple, where the Gods automatically start to argue, ending in one of the parties declaring war on the other. We would probably have to plan our main points out here, but we could post arround the message boards that there will be a meeting there, and the general public are invited to join in. What do you think?
