Lots of happenings at Riverside since your message. I wouldn't mind if Tel left or Graham came. At least Graham would hopefully do some straight talking and clear out all the passengers, hangers-on and poor performers. Although Tel kept M'bro in the Premier I don't think he really proved himself - although look at the material he had to work with! I had little faith in the players if it had all hinged on a win against West Ham to stay up. Seen it before! Hopefully McLaren will do the job (if not Graham) and valium sales in M'bro will decrease. How Robson can put his hand on his heart and collect his wages is beyond me. Steve Gibson needs to be more demanding and ruthless. All the bad decisions made by Robson - loss of Barmby, Merson, Juno, Armstrong - bringing in Gazza (what a total waste of money - my Rangers pal couldn't believe anyone would sign Gazza at the time) - and the resultant departure of Merson - when the cards came out - something seriously wrong. Even Ravanelli's criticism of the poor training/techniques all those years ago should have signalled problems with training/backroom staff. Anybody home? Roll on 2001-2002. Come on Steve - you deserve more for your investment - and the long suffering - hard working supporters - deserve a season of footballing excellence - not achievable with many of the current squad.
