He appeared behind her with a look of disappointment on his face, "Jvogi, Flame, why did you do that? Didn't you feel me warning you?"

She turned around and gazed at the mystical figure of her father, she shook her head, "Father, I am a grown mare now, of course I felt your warnings, and I ignored them."

"But why?" He asked confused, "Why did you ignore me, Flame? You could've been killed! You know what healing does to you, I'm surprised you made it past the first healing, much less the second."

She watched her father, "Dad, I couldn't let those unicorns die, it was my responsibility to take care of the valley, and if dying was what it would've taken then I would have done so." She shakes her head, "Dad you don't understan-"

"No Flame! You don't understand." He said, raising his voice, "You may have been able to hide it from the others, but I'm your father, I watched from above, I know you, you nearly died." He looks to the sky and then back to her, "If it hadn't been for Eifrig coming back, I'm afraid you would've died."

She rolls her eyes, "I've suffered through worse." She stated, "Beside that, Aurora is my best friend, I'm obliged to look out for her children and family. I couldn't let Eifrig come back to two dead unicorns. I'm not sure if he knows it or not yet, but there was already one unicorn that died before I was alerted!"

He smiles, "You've suffered through more, but you were younger then, it wasn't so hard on you then." He pauses, "I admire you for your loyalty, but please Flame, start realizing that you are getting old, and take it easy, it won't help Eifrig if you die."

She sighed, "Being old is boring, and you wouldn't know, you died before you you could get old."

He laughs and smiles down at her, "Flame, there's just no changing you is there?" He pauses, "I'm sorry I didn't make it through the war for you...I would've enjoyed being there for your wedding, and to meet my grandchildren." He winks, "I love you Flame, and just remember, there is a place for you up there, but please, quit being in a such a rush to get there! You've got a grandchild to spoil! Spoil him a little extra for your mother and I, alright?"

She nods, "Alright."

He smiles, "Tell your brother to come visit me some time! You two act as if I don't exsist anymore!" He says teasingly, "Good bye Flame."

A bolt of lightning crashes through the sky and the image of her father is gone....Flame stands there in thought...
