To All My Backward Looking American Friends,

Guys, don't knock back an offer you can't refuse.

The new Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO is here to stay. Take a look at your past Pontiac GTO models through a pair of Aussie's eyes without the rose coloured glasses and see what we see. We see big ugly yank tanks that is REALLY and TRULY big and UGLY.

The new Holden Monaro/Pontiac GTO is styled for the 21st century. The retro look is so PASSE (that's French for ITS SUCKS).

We have it now. You DON'T. We can manufacture it. You CAN'T. So be thankfully that we are giving YOU the car of your dreams. To paraphrase the closing words of our Holden Monaro TV ad, "Monaro is back. Game over." let me just say to you, my American friends, "The GOAT is back. The dreaming is over."

The car has no agressive Muscle car type styling which is why we just dont like the fuckin car, dont you get it? The car is way to plain to have the GTO nameplate on it and it looks like the son of a BMW/Grand Prix with that big ass Cadillac rear end. Have you taken a look at the 2005 Mustang concept? Now thats the type of car the American public is looking for. Keep your Monaros in your part of the world and remember Muscle cars come from America.

Muscle cars in america? i laugh in your face, have a look at a Holden HSV web site.(Holden special vehicles) have a look at the power figures 255kw and 300kw, in V8 sedans, have a look at ford then in australia, they alos have hot sedans running around with 260kw and 290kw V8s with mustang heads bolted onto an ordinary american 5.8 lt V8. it seems that america has lost its way with V8 rear wheel drive cars, in australia there is hot rivaly between holden and ford, and as for the GTO holden realised plans to build a monaro supercar with a 350 gen 111 bored and worked to a 427, producing over 400kw or 500+ kw so with all yor bitching shut up and with only 18,000 GTO's going to the USA they won't last long after people take them for a drive. It's only a pity that none of ford or holden V8 utility's get sent to USA as they are a ton of fun and shit quick being much lighter but have the same horsepower, much better than a waste of space SUV these things shit on them at the lights, fuel bowser, and for looks. just my say

The new GTO looks just like a grand am and / or grand prix. Pontiac didn't do a good job at all designing the car and if you werent a hard core pontiac guy you to would see how damn ugly and embarrising that car is body style wise.
