**She looks over her with a look of disgust and hate. Her icey blue eyes could intimidate anyone. Silently she seems to speak hatred towards Hattie. Sam looks up from the horse she is grooming in a stall not too far off at Ruth and the look she is giving Hattie. She is silent, but watches what's going on carefully, knowing all of Ruth's weaknesses just in case.**
