He nods, listening to her words. It was true. Control had little to do with anything. Her fear of being alone, he understood, to a point.

I do not think you will ever be completely alone. North Star will always be there for you, I am sure. And if no one else, I know a certain...how shall I put it? 'Curious snoop'? Who would be more than willing to help you, if you ever have need of his services.

Orbs glance to ground, uncertain how to continue. She ha dtold him things he doubted she'd ever told another, except perhaps North Star. Why? Perhaps somewhere, she did trust him, if only a bit. He wouldn't strive so hard now though. He'd be himself. If she liked it, perfect. If not, so be it. She was right about that. He wouldn't be who he wasn't, not for anyone. But what now? Once again, conversation had lulled.
