He snorts softly in surprise at her words, the last thing he had expected to hear from her. But he nods slowly, before responding. He had things needing to be said as well.
M'lady, all is forgiven, though I have yet to feel any of it was your fault. In fact, the reason I returned, was to apologize to you. I startled you by my words, when I should have been more careful. Because of my actions, I have not only hurt you, but my sister as well. And, at the least, I have caused North Star more problems than he had already to deal with. It was my own fault I was hurt, but that matters little now. If you would forgive me, or perhaps even consider it, then I will be grateful to you, and - and I will be on my way. Gaze lingers on mare before him, occasionally glancing to her brother, before returning to look at her again. He had said what he needed to say. Every minute here was agony, and he only wished to be free of heavy guilt, so that he could return to the plains, and try and fix what he had broken there.
