I notice in looking for this book on amazon, that bill loader has a series of books on sexuality in the context of ancient writings. interesting. i hadn't realized that this area of study was a specialty for him. my exposure to loader has been primarily his sermons and commentaries on lectionary scripture selections. the book you cite above is one of the less expensive ones in the many that he has. unfortunately, not many are available on kindle or the kindle version is nearly as expensive as the hardcover or paperback. not sure my wife will tolerate me buying another physical book now that i have my kindle fire. ;)
anyway, i am going to have to do some looking into his writings on this subject as i think it is an issue that is not only important within the church, but touches many dimensions of our life experience and society.
