Alright, just located this lovely piece of communication software and decided to post. The summer yielded work, 3/4 tablespoon of drama, and enough technical jargon that would make Webster cry. I plan to attend school in the fall, on my own accord (go figure); however, the higher powers in the cashier and financial aid office lack the necessary coordination to operate a row boat. Not gonna worry, somehow life and people never cease to amaze me. I've wanted to mention the issue of students remaining in college for 5+ years. Now, when I entered "an institution of higher learning," I was told this should only require four/five years of my time. After this time, I would then....uhh.....work at a job doing....Great. We all notice the dilemma (is that spelled right?). So far, out of the twenty or so people I've talked to about the after-school life, I've been instructed to remain in school. So now one has to ask his/her/hisher self, "Do I stay and earn more degrees?" Their point is noted that once I graduate, I must seek employment that will either utilize my new knowledges or just occupy my time until death. I originally came to NSU/LSC to pursue a degree in Physics, but I'm working on Comp & Sys Info degree. It's not too shabby, but it's bull nonetheless. It took me 3 1/2 years to realize the principle behind self and what self wants and what self can do. I believe that, in one form or another, we all come to a point of realization: "What the *$%k? No one knows what's going on." And if someone says they do, chances are they wear foil hats to protect themselves from alien/government transmissions. People will come and go, the present will fade to memories, and the future will bring uncertainty and change. I'm not trying to say everything is terrible and we should all run off to the woods and live in treehouses with monkey butlers; however, does anyone else get tired of the rat race? Dumb question, right? Perhaps I need a new venue. Despite it all, I still want that physics degree. That's all I know. So let this be a lesson: no one knows, and if they do, chances are this is their fifth reincarnation. See everyone soon and keep you head up and eyes open....
