#It is not impossible.. There are indeed some who believe that our govermental system is perfect. Dispite the constant bickering between faculties there is no other discord. Crime is minimal and war has not plagued us in near half a century. Other worlds are too afraid to challange for knowing that at any word of attack all factions will join forces. Not in concern of the others, of course, but mearly in concern of one's own good. If not for the protection of each other, each faction would be easily crushed by opposition.#

Realizing he was drifting off-track he silences himself briefly, quickly returning to the current matter of how to answer her logical words.
His facade clouds with ponderment as he wonders over his own thoughts.

#I have asked myself those very questions many a time. As also have others questioned me on the subject more times than I can remember. And not once can I remember supplying an answer that satisfied either. I suppose that is because I was never truely sure. But this much I can say. Dispite my disgust of the way the goverment rules the world it is still my home. It always shall be. Not only that, it is the home of my family. And my friends. I may wish for something more, but most of them do not. It may be unnessecary, and it may sound perfectly foolish..mayhaps even corny..but I do feel I have a commitment to be there for them. Make sure they are always protected, even if I have to fight as well for something I do not believe in. And besides... I have my hope that the faculty leaders will stop their insistant fighting and gain enough brains to at least concider change. Hopeless as that hope may be, you can't blame one for hoping.#

Here his smile turned quite casual as if the words he had spoken were just idle conversation instead of truthful facts..and truthful feelings. How curious it was as his eyes lost their honest resolve and regained their carefree gleam.
