The human and his monolithic companion depart the shuttle, the former relishing the view of the stars from the viewports. "Ahhh. Nice to be back in space, ain't it?" Emon asks.
D2 looks over at him, "Master Stormhunter, I find no logic in your reaction to this situation. Your sister is most likely about to be tortured, then executed, and you have been in disgustingly high spirits all day. Why?"
"Because if she dies, I get her starship."
At the droid's silent response, Emon sighs in exasperation, "D2, don't you even remember the slightest concept of humor?"
"I must confess, Master Emon, that the other half of my memory bank is contained within the NovaCat, therefore, I do not remember emotion."
"Sure, fine. Whatever. Let's just skidaddle to Venhydra, and bust Juli's butt out of jail, eh?"
The droid nods in agreement.
