Awakening with a gasp, she peers groggily from under half closed lids, blinking a few times to clear her blurred vision, though it does not prove welcoming, the thick trunk of a thorny bush, flecked generously with her own blood. Disengaging her arm from a clump of brambles, she flexes her thorn scratched fingers, and presses her hand to her aching head, not suprised to feel her scalp warm and sticky with her blood. She sighs, flipping slowly over upon her back, testing her limbs tenderly. Scratches covered her arms and face, and had torn through some of her clothes, but as far as she knew scratches, bruises and the knock to the head... most proabably that cursed branch, were her only injuries.
Delaying any attempt to rise until her head had stopped throbbing, she lies still, staring up into the mass of prickers above her head while busying herself by removing the bandage from her arm and replacing it on her tender head...
