Well... As you know, I have a shapechanging ability - only a slight one, though. I wish I could do more, but for some reason it's just tiger. And it's a quirky thing. Sometimes I have no control - I can't explain it. My genetic makeup makes me this way - shouldn't I have control over this excess form and changing to and from it?
For the most part - I do. But sometimes - like just now - I go back and forth without me willing it. Sometimes I get stuck in one form or the other - or in between, sometimes up to months at a stretch. Sometimes it's like seizures - I go back and forth uncontrollably.
Gods that is such a problem! I've almost caused the death of some of my companions - mainly Fyre - during important missions. I'm such a bother, when I can't control it! I've tried everything except resorting to witchcraft and incantations - only because I didn't know anyone that could do that, and don't really believe in it, or believe it exists. I think it went out of majority thousands of years back - it would take quite the search to find a mage these days, and a lot of time I'm not all that willing to waste. Nothing works, though! Drugs I've tried... Well... At best, I'm out cold for a few hours. At worst, I'm out for weeks, months - depends on the drug. Every time, for every single prescription, pill or substance along those lines I take, I'm sick for weeks and months - it's doubly a bother, because I can't take simple things like headache pills and painkillers. Nothing.

That's not all my problems. That's just the main disadvantages. You know my secret, so do a few others - you few are probably the only ones that haven't ganged up and tried to kill me. They think I'm a freak - and having no security on knowing when I might just happen to switch forms makes it awfully difficult to remain hidden or disguised. I've switched planets so many times, and I don't know how many people want me dead now... What do they have against people who just happen to be quite a bit different?

And to think all I want is to fully control my changing, and perhaps had other forms... And to think I've got so many silly problems, and you wanted to hear what's wrong and got it all... Ah, but I was sick of dealing with it all alone, though...
