With a keen, experienced eye, she watches the horses parade past, and moves forward confidently to get a closer look. With a deft, sure touch, she inspects the teeth, feet and eyes of each horse, as well as running a hand down each leg. She lays a hand on their shoulders, one after the other, guaging reaction. She then turns back to the worker, her decision made.
"I find Juhuma suitable. For how much are you selling him? Do you know of a fine saddle-maker, whose services I can request? Ah, the cloth... I believe I would prefer the azure." She moves forward, running the cloth between her hands, its supple length shimmering slightly in the sun. "Yes, this is fine cloth. I will purchase the whole bolt - it may be useful for more than draperies. As for the incense, the sandlewood will do nicely."
She looks upon her intended purchases, a faraway look in her eye... It had been long since she could buy a simple loaf of bread without scrounging for any coin... She was beginning to slip easily once again into the role of the wealthy noble.
As the old worker approaches her once again, she shakes her head slightly, serene mask falling back into place.
