::He comes from the desert, windswept and riding hard. Ebony stallion is lathered, but still continues endlessly. The string of horses led behind are each about dead on their feet, ridden hard for days on end. Little sleep and a killing pace make the mounts weary, but still, like their rider, they continue. A white mare, a bay stallion, a chesnut mare, each bred of the desert, each willing to run themselves to death for their rider. The mounted man, the only mounted in this small ensamble, looks as harried and run ragged as his horses. They exchange brief words with the guard, continuing through the gates. He searching, searching to warn his brother, but he fears it may be too late...::
