The Shuttle

You board the shuttle, and are seated in a comfortable chair by a helpful stewardess. Cool, bluish refreshments are served, and you are beginning to relax and enjoy your flight to the colony when you are interrupted by an insistant tap on your shoulder.
"Excuse me, sir," the voice says, and you realize it is the stewardess. "Excuse me, but I need you to enter your information in the data terminal before we may let you off at the colony. I suggest you do so now." She hands you a small, flat, greenish screen with prompts for the following:

Alliance:
Alias:
Contact:

Rank refers to the type of character (citizen, guard, rogue, etc), Alliance refers to which government you sympathize with (you may be neutral). Your Alias is your out of character name, that you use in Badhbh's Lair and around Dreamscape as a whole. All of the above are required to join, except those marked with an asterisk (*). Be sure to check back here after joining for possible comments on your character.

The shuttle doors open with a hiss of decompression and you catch a glimpse of the Station over the heads of the other passengers. A voice pings pleasantly over the sound system.
