Subject: thank god its over

Well, I went and saw the final Matrix film...
eegad...Im sure most film goers and general public will find it a chore, as I did, when sitting back down to stumble through all the loose ends and plot holes the last film left us with. So fifteen minutes into this one I finally said..."who fucking cares whats going on with the characters." Apparently, the directors had the same thing going on, for in this film...character development means jack squat. Its all about big budget effects and a contest to see who can be the biggest bad ass. I'll admit the action scenes were satisfying, but with characters thin as an anorexic cheerleader, the overall effect is one of a fireworks show..(ooh ahhh...thats it?). The ending will probably leave most fans of this trilogy very, very unsatisfied and thinking of ways they could have ended the series better. (perhaps bringing back the bad ass twins?) Anyway, after seeing it...I can only saw one thing...thank god this trilogy is over. I can't wait to see the next big hollywood-genre-culture changing hullabaloo movie that comes out and blows us all away like the first matrix film did so many years ago. Hopefully whomever that directory will be, he or she will learn a lesson from The Matrix films and once building their beautiful house of cards...they will leave it the fuck alone once its erected and not muck it up with uneeded moneymaking sequals.
I also want to ride Carrie Anne Moss like a quarter pony outside K-Mart. Thank you.
