We have no choice but to let the season roll on. One can only wait for your insigthful analysis.

and an open mind to what is being reported.

Insightful analysis will require a first hand view ;-)

Then again, maybe there are some that only want to point blame in one direction.

Incidentally, the reporting is not coming from a staff member.

Some may not understand what they look at or fear to voice an opinion until the door is shut and consensus is reached. Failure to consider the root cause of a problem is also why problems linger as long as they do. To date you have a conundrum here and you fail to recognize it. It lies within your comment on one direction. Sometimes like Tom Coughlin, change is made (sounds like the current political climate) and success emanates. Have the rest of the season and next to find out.

And when again are only the staff inside. There are some that go to practices and make observations and do talk with those there.

With respect, no conundrum for me. The team is obviously playing poorly and the offense is not in cinque (think I was one of the first to point that out). Without trying to figure it all out, it is obviously a combination of things and, as others state, the Coach, as leader, shoulders the brunt of the criticism.

All that said, I like Dunne, as our Coach. Recruiting wise, hard working wise, teaching wise, and for a host of other reasons. Thus, for me, I'm not questioning the Coach but supporting him and somewhat sympathizing with both him and the team. Others can have their opinion, and that is fine, but in case there is any doubt, that is where I stand.

As far as Peacock's comment that we have this year and next to find out, I agree. Reality is that we are judged by our record and I can see that some judgements are beginning to be formed (just read the posts). For me, I have confidence in JD and hope that he turn this thing around.

I hope he turns it around as well.but so far I do not see any progress and i think that lack of progress is all about Dunne. I would like to see more intensity during the games. We seem too accepting of loses..This is just my perception and I may be very wrong.....

I can't disagree with you. You acknowledge the problem and the responsibility and therefore have no conflict. Whether you want to support John or not is of no issue. Other than a select few, I doubt many want him to fail, so I am sure he has the support of all those that are now beginning to worry. He is half way through his contract and he does have to show something for all the fine things, which are not in disagreement, you have stated about him. I see nothing in the manner I felt about Leckie, and as of now, his only problem is results. And by results I don't just mean wins and losses, but the performance of the game against competition in both preparation and execution.

I measure not by wins or losses, or even game performance; but by the growth or development that occurs over time.

No doubt, this has not been the case thus far.
