Great memory. Were you there, Cindy?

It was probably the best individual game Mike Frensley ever played for SPC.

Brevin Knight, who is from NJ and had starred at Seton Hall Prep, was the Stanford star at the time and he got T'ed and ejected early in the game.

Some of the Stanford people speculated that he was hyped up to do well against a team from NJ and then he became frustrated by how well his opposite number, Frensley, was playing.

The ref who ejected him was Dave Libbey, who the locals said takes no flak and has a rep for being completely impartial--doesn't matter who the home team is or who the stars are, everyone gets the same whistle.

Libbey, who still works the Pac-10, can be seen in many late-round NCAA Tournament games.

Frensley helped hold Knight to single digets,I believe 4 or 5.
Mike was amazing for his control. In an entire MAAC season he committed only 14 turnovers.
Most will remember him for his game winning shot against the Jaspers to put SPC in the Dance, and for his ponytail,of course.

Where do you guys get this detailed information from? Certainly not from SPC's website.
