The last thing I did with Zero was that he had just broken trough Wily's defence forces and continued onward into the moon base, while leaving most of the hunters behind to take care of Wily's forces.
This leaves Zero in the perfect place for you to add some story G-man.
I'll take controll of BR until you are ready to post again Bladerunner (he'll be uncouncious till you get back so I won't be able to make him do things out of character, lol)
Ok, here is my post.
RX had just finished off the last of the A-squad, when he turned around he found a huge pile of rubble where BR should be.
RX: Huh?? Bladerunner!!?? where are you???
(He must be behind this rubble) RX thought to himself
RX began punching his way trough the rubble to try and get to BR, as he began to think to himself...
RX: (If BR is trapped behind this rubble, then that means that fighting I heard earlier could have been him, that means he could be....)
RX began pumelling the rubble faster and harder now, until he finally broke his way through. The first thing he saw was a giant block of Ice. It was frozen so much that he could only make out a biped shape. Then he looked over to see Bladerunner lying on the ground with a huge burn mark on his chest.
RX: This looks like a particle beam blast, Bladerunner!!! Are you ok??? Bladerunner!!
RX began shaking him to see if he was alive, he opened a port of his right arm which began to scan BR.
RX: He's alive....barely...how am I supposed to disarm the core now? BR was the only one with enough knowledge...looks like I'll have to try my luck...
RX left BR and walked into the core room, 5 or 6 research bots ran past him which he payed no attention to, then another was running past...
RX: (Hmmm, this one looks important...)
RX put out his arm and grabed the research reploid
RX: Hey, you the guy in charge here?
(RB = Research Bot)
RB: Ughh..yes, please don't hurt me!!!
RX: Relax, I have no intention of hurting you, unless you don't tell me what I need to know!
RB: Ahhh, I'll tell you anything you need to know!! just don't hurt me!!
RX: I wan't to know how to remove that fusion generator for the Particle Cannon without blowing us all to pieces.
RB: B-But I can't do that!! Lord Wily would melt me down into scrap!!!
RX: Would you rather I just rip it out and blow us all to hell??
RB: Ok ok, I'll help you....
RX: Good...oh and don't try anything, if you do just look at your security team to get an idea of what will happen to you
RB: Y-yes...don't worry...
After a few minuetes of fiddling about with wires and buttons the protection around the core ceased functioning and the Particle Cannon shut down.
RX: Good work, you can go....but if you attempt to set off any alarms you'll be dead before you can move, understand?
RB: N-No!! you don't have to worry about me!!!
The Researcher then ran off out the door and down the corridoor. RX removed the generator and took it in his hands.
RX: Ok, time to make my exit.
As he left the room and was walking towards BR he noticed that BR had little time left, and that if he did not do something he would run out of energy...
RX: Hmmm...if this thing works on the same principles as our own generators then I might be able to create some make shift life support system for BR, If I was to use any more than just the amount to keep him alive he would overload so I have to be careful...
RX hooked up the generatpr to BR successfully and put BR over his should and the core into his arm.
RX: Don't worry Bladerunner, I'll get you to the shuttle bay in no time, then once your safe I'm going back to take care of Sigma!
At that RX dashed down the corridoor towards the shuttle bay...
