....Currently, the idea of alliances will exist in Outer Realms. Not in the alpha run, but eventually. HOWEVER...they will be completely different than in Utopia. They will be looked upon more as a guild in an RPG. The people in the game will create them, and from there allow or disallow others into the guild. Don't worry, I won't allow it to ruin the game, such as in Utopia, but I believe small alliances, or at least the possibility for you to group yourself with others will be a necessary part of the game.
