In response to the Graduate Jars...they have been done, and I know I told you. But, sadly...when I wanted us to take care of them before the end of Spring it did not work...and they were done for the Summer meeting that was meant to give them out to the graduates, but alas, no one showed. The jars were brought to every Summer meeting. Now they sit and wait. Knowing that most of the graduates are not too far away. I'm sorry, I could have brought yours to the game but I do not want it to get broken.

I would not worry about traditions going away, I am one that does not let them...and there are sisters willing to learn. Thank goodness for all the sisters that help with candles, and I know that many of them will help with the jars. I was not always "In charge" of these, but I did always have a hand in helping make them ever since we started them. :) I have also been trying to get us do to something special when we hand these jars over...needs to be somewhere better then a meeting or holiday party. Should be a time where we as a sisterhood are celebrating their graduation...and I know ther is something in the works on this! YEAH!

So, if you wish to get your jar immediately, please tell me, unless you wish to get it later, when we hope to do something for our graduates. This goes for other graduates as well...I do have your jars, but Becky S. and I had discussed doing something more meaningful, and I know that a few committees have talked about it now as well.

Thank you for your time. MOTS
