Hark gasps as Dark tells her. I've seen it. It was the war between my father's pack and an evil pack. The evil pack had many more wolves than ours. I told my father not to battle, but he just wouldn't listen to a pup. He just told me to hide with my mother. I went to my mother and did what I was told. When my father got hit, my mother went out of our hiding place and tried to protect him...but she got hit in the process. I stayed where I was and when all the other pack was satisfied and left, I went to see my mother and father. They both told me that it was ok. I told them that they couldn't die, they had to teach me everything there is to know about being a wolf. They told me to go elsewhere to find out, then they just...died. I looked at the moons and howled my first truthful howl. She sits down, tears streaming down her cheeks. I'll never forget that day. She lifts her head up and howls.
