In reply to: Upon A Breeze 's message, "The golden filly lifts a delicate, finely chiseled head to gaze impassively at the colt. She recognized him, somewhere in the back of her mind, as her adoptive brother. Not that it meant much to her. Very little did, for none were truly close to her. Her mother was dead, father and twin disappeared. An older brother she had heard something of, but never seen. She had reached the age of one, still a child by most standards, but she had been forced to grow up the day she was born, the day she lost her mother, and she was learning the harder lessons of life - that those who were most loved, left the quickest." on 19:24:40 10/12/02 Sat

*chestnut mare moves towards young filly. Drops maw down towards her. She, too, was reflecting upon her lost family. Not one, but two. Death had torn her apart so many times and now her adoptive siblings had left her. She had gained the truth of her real half-brother but didn't want to face reality that the dark beta was related to her. Whicker is given to youngling from pony-sized mare*

Though the mare approaching was quite small, she still stood above the yearling filly, forever destined to be tiny, for the lack of nutrients caused my near starvation in their struggle as foals. Shyly, young one skitters backwards a step, then, deeming it a safe distance, whuffs to the mare.Breeze07:41:43 10/19/02 Sat
