They can get more on a DVD than a VCR tape. More bang for your buck. The tapes were good but they only put out a select few episodes from each season. And as we all know, everyones tastes are different. DVD's you get the whole season, then you can pick and choose what one to watch.

I have the whole series on tape, most taped off the TV, but just recently picked up a DVD player and Season One was my first purchase. Season two is at the top of my xmas list. ( with a new daytimer, a new housecoat and slippers, just in case anyone is interested!!!! ;-) ). The quality is much better on the DVD's too.
