X-File: INVASION OF THE BOOTY SNATCHERS

It's a really weird experience to look in on a thread,..
.. and to find someone using an imitation of your screen name,..
.. and attempting to imitate the way that you write, and the opinions that you hold.

But this is exactly what has happened to me this week.
Gormworm has encountered Gormwyrm.

I've also noticed that a number of people who used to make posts around here all the time:
NiteJar, Boon, TriFan, RobertModell, Meyers72 .....
.. posters who all said their good-byes to this forum last May, ..
.. are all back again!

However,.. the way that they write, and the opinions that they are expressing seem strangely out of character based on their long standing history of posts and opinions in this forum.

I can�t know for certain that these are impostors who have stolen forum member identities.
Only the person who�s identity has been stolen can know for sure.

"Invasion of the Booty Snatchers"!

Someone,.. or some group of someones, is apparently stealing the identities of long time
X-Files forum members from the past.

I don't know for certain that the new Nightjar is not the original NiteJar,.. or that the new
Season 9 loving BOON is the same BOON who was so brilliant in her criticisms of the writing on the X-Files in the past.

But what I DO know is this:
SOMEONE IS STEALING IDENTITIES IN THE X-FILES DELPHI FORUMS!

I feel a bit like Donald Sutherland eyeing Brooke whats-her-name in the 1980's remake of
"Invasion of the Body Snatchers".

Many of you are probably ticked off with me because Gormwyrm flamed you.
Our impostor blew it!
He didn't check to make sure that this corpse was really dead before stealing my identity.

If you haven�t been to the Official X-Files forum in a while,...
.. you might want to take a look at what�s being done by someone who is using your name.
