How can you not want to watch the X Files just because the Mulder and Scully romance won't exist because Mulder left? I think Doggett should be able to handle it, after all, he handles other things quite well. Robert Patrick is doing a great job of playing Doggett, and Doggett is good at his job as an agent. I think Doggett and Scully need to start getting along better now anyway. If you can't tell from Season 8, Doggett spent a great deal trying to protect Agent Scully and her baby, and when she told him to get out of her house in the first Season 9 episode, it upset me a lot. If I was Scully I'd be thinking, WOW, here's this great guy standing in front of me, and I think he actually might stick around to help me raise my kid. Anyway, I think the show does not need to revolve around the Scully and Mulder romance, and it will go on without Mulder. We will all miss him, of course, but Doggett will be able to fill his shoes.
