Subject: Hi to all my fellow X Philes

Just thought I'd show my face, or you might think you were never going to see me again! (What do you mean "So what?") I saw DD on 'The Priory' as described by cvl and I have to agree that his appearance was a bit cringe inducing. He seemed all at sea and uncomfortable with himself. It wasn't helped by the egos-on-sticks presenters. This show is all about noisy, young, irreverent presenters and not at all about the unsuspecting guests. If you have a product to plug, it is not a show where you will get your point across, particularly. Jamie Theakston and Zoe Ball are very full of themselves and DD found it hard to be himself. 'Evolution' only got a brief mention.

Incidentally, the BBC is showing Season 1 again, at the moment, on Friday nights. This week it was 'Squeeze'. Great to see it again: Eugene Victor Tooms in all his starey yellow-eyed stretchiness.
